Harry Fulop is one of those people who makes me wonder how musicians work. Composing music a magical science to me, but he’s absurdly good at it and his new album is out.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.

I’m thankful for you. So here is a galaxy-smashing simulator you may not have seen.

Click the Applett. Set friction on, stars at 2000 and play around with the rest. I’m also Thankful for Andrea Dobson.

Awkward high five + 90’s-era bewilderment towards the internet + Julia Stiles = my new favorite Ghostwriter clip.

Daily chart: which governments take the biggest chunk from a $100,000 salary? Belgium’s government grabs the highest share from earnings of $100,000, at almost 48%. Between 2003 and 2009, the highest tax rates on personal income declined. But last year they increased by 0.4% as governments sought to reduce deficits.

…oh there we are, near the bottom of all the Superpowers, new and old.

Hundreds if not billions of you have been calling me, asking, “WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THE GROWING TREND OF U.S. CITIES ALIGNING THEIR SPORTS TEAM LOGOS TO CREATE A CITY-WIDE COLOR IDENTITY, ALEX!?!?!????”. First of all, calm down, second of all, your problems are over.
There is a brilliant sports-logo expert out there who is absurdly gifted at both writing and web design, but was naive enough to invite me to blab all over TheSportsDesignBlog.com. You can read it here, and I strongly urge you to chime in on the comments, regardless of your familiarity with the subject.

This is beautiful. Also, our cities look like liver spots on the face of the earth. But it’s actually beautiful
