Harry Fulop is one of those people who makes me wonder how musicians work. Composing music a magical science to me, but he’s absurdly good at it and his new album is out.

Feb 6, I am ready for you.
I’m thankful for you. So here is a galaxy-smashing simulator you may not have seen.
Click the Applett. Set friction on, stars at 2000 and play around with the rest. I’m also Thankful for Andrea Dobson.

The writers at Read it And Weep are comedy Benjamin Franklins, which is better than comedy geniuses. Their audience is so intensely devoted to hearing them rip apart terrible books, movies and shows that total strangers flew across the country to see their live performance.
Their new text-based venture, Blog it and Weep, is the same brand of brilliance and I have no idea why they would let me tarnish it, but they did.
So if what you need right now more than anything is for someone to explain to you, in writing, why you should hate/admire Miller Lite commercials, you can click above and I’ll solve that problem for you.

Twice. The second time I was in line at CA Pizza Kitchen and invited him to cut up front with me. He kept looking behind him like I was waving to someone else. So I said, “Come up here!” and he got sheepish and shook his head smiling.
LET IT BE KNOWN: WEIRD AL YANKOVIC DOES NOT CUT LINES.
Me: Jalen, you finished all of your practice problems already! You’re on fire, aren’t you?
Jalen: What? No! I’m not on fire.
Me: No, not literally. It’s an expression. (turning to Viktor) Viktor, don’t you ever use the phrase ‘you’re on fire’?
Viktor: What? (looking terrified) I’m not on fire!
Miguel: (Completely deadpan towards me) It’s 2011, not 1997.
aaaaaaaaaaaaand scene. I’m old.
Listen, people, if you keep enabling Michael Bay like this then he will NEVER STOP.
If you only watch one clip, watch the one where he’s awkwardly new in the worst shirt ever.

I’m not exactly sure what Blair wrote Hello Halo about. But if this song is as much about feeling like “I don’t know what I’m sayin’,” while working with kids as I think it is, then it very aptly describe my life with TFA. And the TFA staff is very much a “radio in my head” because I practically dream their mantras at this point.
Furthermore, I think that when she so poetically states, “KIT-TENS, RAIN-BOWS,” she is talking about kittens and rainbows.

This team is way too much fun to watch. If anyone has to take out Durant now, I want it to be Randolph and Co.

Spatial Music #1: James’ Apartment—Day
This is the first in a series of ambient pieces I’m recording in an effort to utilize music as a design feature. My goal is to modify/enhance a particular room or space/the listeners’ perception of said space. This one is for my friend James’ studio apartment, which is exceptionally well designed and has a killer sound system. This one in particular is for daytime, and my next project will be a nighttime piece for the same space. Hope you enjoy!
PS. If you only have computer speakers, I highly recommend listening to this with earphones.
I’m surrounded by artists, it’s making me jealous all the time. Harry’s already writing music for one of my bosses and now he’s on an ambient music path. I think the whole concept of composing for individual rooms is brilliant.
For three days, a pup named Monty will be available for Yale law students to check out of the library for half-hour “stress-therapy” sessions. - NY TImes
Putting this in public libraries nationally would definitely help us “win the future”, Obama. Just a note.
