My friend Sophie, who creates a sizable proportion of my favorite things on the internet, has created a vlog. The first one is a lesson on how to screen print which almost immediately becomes a lesson on how not to screen print.

I’ve always promised myself that when I REALLY learn piano, the first song I will figure out how to cover will be Slade/Quiet Riot’s “Cum on Feel the Noize”. I finally bothered to youtube it to see who’d done it already - it’s even more beautiful than I had imagined.

I’d given up on posting ads, but this one is the best in a long time because it says everything I hate about razors while using the tragically overdone “the-man-your-man-could-smell-like-montage” format in a way that doesn’t make me hate the company.

One of the things I’m most proud of is that sometimes Harry Fulop lets me hang out with him. Here he is dueting with Ingrid Michaelson.
