Oh hi, were you looking for a collection of Andrew Zuckerman bird photos, shot close up against a white background as if each one was featured in Newsweek as an expose for their Presidential candidacy? K, great. Via.

6 days agoNo, Happy Halloween to YOU, Graham Annable, you made my night. My late, homework-filled night.
1 month agoI’m in the Whitman library right now and I just hit ctrl+V to paste what I thought was another link. Turns out it was actually the url for the myspace page of whoever was here previously - probably a dude named NIK? Here is what NIK loves:
- Mud
- Nissans
- The confederate flag
- Not understanding that Nissans are NOT American.
1 month agoThis Mad Men parody is yet another reason why Sesame Street is my favorite show on television. Sorry about the commercial at the beginning.
1 month agoMy BFF Alli just showed me this. I’m delightfully speechless. My day is now great.

3 months agoSo my friend Finn and I have been out of contact over most of the summer, but no longer, and are now discussing the sickass section we are going to write for the Whitman Pioneer. And in these conversations he keeps mentioning this “boat” that I either a) have completely forgotten about because I’m an insensitive idiot or b) never knew about. And while I keep asking him about it, I still have NO IDEA WHAT THIS BOAT IS because the only conversation we’ve had by phone has been static-filled and garbled.
The rest has been by email where he casually mentions sea-faring with no explanation. Here are email snippets:
“Hey! Sorry, I’ve been out in the boat and this is the first time I’ve had internet access in awhile. No, I haven’t gotten any text messages.”
“…I like the idea of a clubhouse/space. Could it have pinball? Or perhaps be made of solid diamond, so that it blinds all who gaze upon it? Either or, really. Call me, I’ve got to get back to the boat.”
WHAT?!
Now I’m in this state of limbo. I have reason to believe that Finn is regularly coming ashore to make contact with the rest of the world, and then returning to this boat to do THINGS, and I want to know what things, but it’s almost more enjoyable to leave it as completely ambiguous.
I picture him talking to me on the phone while wearing a captain’s hat, smoking a pipe, and speaking through his thick beard into a rusty payphone attatched to a fish shack. Then he hobbles down a pier into the fog of my imagination where he returns to his boat to do important boat things.
FINN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! Or maybe you just shouldn’t tell me.
